One CRO. Complete Dataset.
When a preclinical efficacy study wraps up at EyeCRO, ocular tissues move directly from our animal facility to our bioanalytical lab. No third-party handoffs. No waiting in an external lab’s queue. Sponsors receive a single integrated dataset covering both in-life endpoints and bioanalytical quantitation from the team that ran the entire study.
LC-MS/MS Quantitation
Our Waters Xevo TQ-S Micro LC-MS/MS platform supports three core workflows: small molecule PK quantitation, lipidomic profiling, and targeted proteomic analysis of biologics and peptide therapeutics. Standard curves are validated with 12 to 20 points per analyte, with typical R² values of 0.997 or higher. Sample preparation runs on the Waters Andrew+ robotic pipetting system, and tissue homogenization is performed on the Qiagen TissueLyser III for consistent processing of small ocular samples.

Expression Profiling
Quantitative RT-PCR and custom expression panels let us track gene-level changes across treatment arms and time points, supporting mechanism of action work and biomarker identification alongside in-life endpoints.

Immunoblot and qPCR
For protein-level confirmation and pathway analysis, our biochemistry team runs western blot, multiplex cytokine profiling, ELISA, and protein production and purification. These assays integrate with PK and expression data to build a complete picture of how a candidate is performing.

Integrated Data, One Team
For sponsors evaluating small molecule or peptide-based ophthalmic therapeutics, keeping bioanalysis in-house means tighter timelines, cleaner chain of custody, and one team accountable for the entire dataset.
